Check in time is 4:00 pm. Early check-in can be requested but cannot be guaranteed. Please contact Guest Services.


WHat are your Check-in Policies?

A valid credit card and photo identification are required to check-in. Only the person named on the reservation can be checked-in, unless otherwise pre-arranged with the hotel. Anyone checking in must be at least 18 years of age.


WHAT TIME IS CHECK-OUT?

Check-out time is 11:00 am.


CAN I ARRANGE TO CHECK OUT AFTER 11:00 AM?

Yes, but late check outs are subject to availability and must be arranged in advance of your check out date. There are costs associated with late check outs:

  • Check-out at 1:00 pm: Cost is $45.00 plus 15% applicable room taxes.

  • Check-out at 3:00 pm: Cost is $90.00 plus 15% applicable room taxes.

  • Check-out between 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm: 50% of the nightly room rental plus 15% applicable room taxes.

  • Check-out after 6:00 pm: Full nightly room rental plus 15% applicable room taxes.

    Late check out may not be available from June through September due to high occupancy levels.


WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

The cancellation policy for accommodations reserved during the peak season from Canada Day to Labour Day inclusive is 14 days prior to the arrival date. The cancellation policy for accommodations booked outside of the peak season is 72 hours prior to the arrival date. If a cancellation is made after the allotted cancellation time, the one nights’ deposit paid at the time of  booking will not be returned; if no deposit was taken then a one nights’ room charge plus tax will be charged to the credit card on file.


Stay® | Well 

What does HSEF on my confirmation mean?

HSEF is the Hotel Services and Environmental Fee and is part of Bellstar’s Stay® | Well program.  We hope to inspire guests to become active and truly experience our destinations and at the same time give back to the environment by offering a wide variety of activities and services, including unlimited access to the paperless newsstand, PressReader, outdoor activity programming, and a variety of seasonal gear to enable all guests to get out and enjoy the area. Included in this fee is a contribution to Bellstar’s Stay® | Green program, which supports local eco-friendly initiatives. For more information, please visit bellstar.ca/green.

Does Bellstar still collect Stay® | Green fees?

Why did we start to charge the HSEF?

There were amenities that many of our guests consistently requested to enhance their stay with us. We are pleased to now be able to provide all our guests with many of these upgrades and services for a nominal fee.

What if a guest doesn’t use all of the things included in the Resort Fee, do they still have to pay?

Yes. This is a standard fee, guests are welcome to use all or none of the items included but the fee remains the same. 

How do guests access the Stay® | Well amenities?

Program information, activity lists, and PressReader access are provided upon guest check-in. 

What is PressReader?

PressReader is an all-you-can-read digital newsstand with thousands of the world’s most popular newspapers and magazines.


DOES THE Royal Kelowna CHARGE A DEPOSIT AT THE TIME OF BOOKING?

Yes. The Royal Kelowna charges a minimum deposit of one nights’ accommodation, unless otherwise specifically stated. When booking a resort package a larger deposit may be required at the time of booking depending on type of package.


Do you have on-site parking available?

Yes, we have covered and surface parking available in our parking garage. The clearance height is 6 feet, 8 inches (2.03 m). There is a charge for parking, please see our complete parking policy.


Do you have smoking rooms?

No. The Royal Kelowna is a 100% non-smoking environment. This includes guest suites, balconies, common areas, and hotel grounds.


Does the hotel allow pets?

Unfortunately The Royal Kelowna does not allow pets. Please contact Guest Services if you need information on local kennels for your pet.


Do you offer free Wi-Fi?

Yes. Free Wi-Fi is available in all guest suites.


Do you offer cots?

No, unfortunately The Royal Kelowna does not provide cots.


Do you offer playpens?

Yes. The Royal Kelowna does have playpens available. Please request at time of reservation as there are a limited number available. There is no cost for a playpen.


Can I barbecue at The Royal Kelowna?

Yes. There is a roof top barbecue and seating area that is available free of charge for all guests.
