Please take note of the following operational procedures at The Royal Kelowna:

  • Check in time is 4:00 pm. Early check-in can be requested but cannot be guaranteed. Please contact Guest Services.

  • A valid credit card and photo identification are required to check-in. Only the person named on the reservation can be checked-in, unless otherwise pre-arranged with the hotel. Anyone checking in must be at least 18 years of age.

  • Check-out time is 11:00 am.

  • Yes, but late check outs are subject to availability and must be arranged in advance of your check out date. There are costs associated with late check outs:

    Check-out at 1:00 pm: Cost is $45.00 plus 15% applicable room taxes.

    Check-out at 3:00 pm: Cost is $90.00 plus 15% applicable room taxes.

    Check-out between 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm: 50% of the nightly room rental plus 15% applicable room taxes.

    Check-out after 6:00 pm: Full nightly room rental plus 15% applicable room taxes.

    Late check out may not be available from June through September due to high occupancy levels.

  • For the safety of our guests and associates, housekeeping services are not provided during your stay. Guests can request fresh linens, towels, and room amenities.

  • For accommodations reserved during the peak season, which spans from Canada Day to Labour Day inclusive, the cancellation policy requires notification 14 days prior to the arrival date.

    During the off-season, the cancellation policy is set at 72 hours prior to the arrival date.

    If a cancellation occurs after the specified cancellation time:

    If a one-night deposit was paid at the time of booking, it will not be refunded.

    If no deposit was taken, a one-night room charge plus tax will be charged to the credit card on file.

  • To avoid incurring early check-out fees, it is recommended to modify your reservation before your arrival. If you decide to depart early, a one-night room charge, along with applicable taxes, will occur.

  • Yes. The Royal Kelowna charges a minimum deposit of one nights’ accommodation, unless otherwise specifically stated. When booking a resort package a larger deposit may be required at the time of booking depending on type of package.

  • Yes, we have covered and surface parking available in our parking garage. The clearance height is 6 feet, 8 inches (2.03 m). There is a charge for parking, please see our complete parking policy.

  • No. The Royal Kelowna is a 100% non-smoking environment. This includes guest suites, balconies, common areas, and hotel grounds.

  • Unfortunately The Royal Kelowna does not allow pets. Please contact Guest Services if you need information on local kennels for your pet.

  • Yes. Free Wi-Fi is available in all guest suites.

  • No, unfortunately The Royal Kelowna does not provide cots.

  • Yes. The Royal Kelowna does have playpens available. Please request at time of reservation as there are a limited number available. There is no cost for a playpen.

  • Yes. There is a roof top barbecue and seating area that is available free of charge for all guests.


Stay® | Well

  • HSEF is the Hotel Services and Environmental Fee and is part of Bellstar’s Stay® | Well program. We hope to inspire guests to become active and truly experience our destinations and at the same time give back to the environment by offering a wide variety of activities and services, including unlimited access to the paperless newsstand, PressReader, outdoor activity programming, and a variety of seasonal gear to enable all guests to get out and enjoy the area.   • There were amenities that many of our guests consistently requested to enhance their stay with us. We are pleased to now be able to provide all our guests with many of these upgrades and services for a nominal fee.

  • Yes. This is a standard fee, guests are welcome to use all or none of the items included but the fee remains the same.

  • Access to program information, equipment rentals, and activity lists, are provided upon guest check-in.
